A Story From Agriculturalist to Fragrance Specialist.

In the year 1950, the visionary journey of Oudh al Anfar began under the guidance of the late Haji Anfar Ali. Before venturing into the world of perfumery, Haji Anfar Ali had dedicated his life to farming. His profound knowledge of plants and their captivating scents allowed him to cultivate a plentiful harvest of fragrant blossoms. Recognizing the prominence of oud in Assam, he embarked on an agarwood business in the small town of Hojai, laying the foundation for future growth.

When Haji Anfar Ali passed away, the responsibility of carrying forward his remarkable legacy fell upon his sons, Mushtaq Anfar and Faruqe Anfar. They were supported by the unwavering commitment and strength of their mother, Samsun Nehar Begum, who became the backbone of the company. Her invaluable contributions continue to this day, as she remains actively involved in the field.

At the tender age of 21, Mushtaq Anfar faced the sudden loss of his father. Despite the adversity, he persevered and continued striving towards success. His determination and unwavering focus became the driving force behind the company's continued growth and prosperity.
